Walking city, Jubilee city

After the royal wedding and the London marathon, this is another golden opportunity to walk streets which are usually packed with cars. Try the Whitehall area, The Mall and parts of the surrounding streets. Not to mention those where residents organize street parties. You might even end up sipping tea and nibbling shortbread.

Enjoy the pleasing sense of accomplishment when carelessly rambling or cycling through the middle of a big avenue.

I know, it’s a small step for humanity, but a large one for your shoes.
